Park Rules




ϖ    A vehicle pass to the lakeside beach will be issued for every vehicle.  For insurance purposes please ensure this is displayed on the windscreen of every vehicle.

ϖ    Smoking is not permitted inside the Grandview homestead or the Lakeview cabin.  

ϖ    No open fire or flame of any type may be lit in the homestead grounds, except in the fire rim provided.   The location of the fire rim should not be changed; and guests are asked to refrain from lighting a fire under conditions of high wind.

ϖ    The gas BBQ is to be kept reasonably clean and the gas bottle turned off when not in use.   Please do not leave food on the BBQ because insects may be attracted.   Please do not move the BBQ from its allocated position.

ϖ    Guests who make a booking on behalf of others, are responsible for all aspects of the booking: through from ensuring park rules are complied with through to being responsible and liable for payment in the case of short-payment. For Grandview Homestead a credit card authorization for $350.00 may be required to cover damage or incidentals.  For Lakeview Homestead a card authorization for $350.00 will always be requested.  This authorization will only be used if incidentals such as drinks or ice-creams are charged, or if the homestead or cabin is not left in a satisfactory condition.

ϖ    Male groups over and above five guests will not be admitted at check-in without written permission having been given beforehand - for example, footy clubs, bucks nights, etc.   Under these circumstances deposit monies paid will not be refunded.  IF IN DOUBT, JUST PHONE TO DISCUSS PRIOR TO MAKING A BOOKING - 07 54636256).

ϖ    Pets are not permitted in the homesteads or the homestead grounds.

ϖ    Please return furniture to the original position prior to departure.

ϖ    Any breakages or equipment that is not working should please be reported as soon as possible (including blown light bulbs etc).

ϖ    Houses must be left in a reasonably clean and tidy condition; charges to credit card will be made for unreasonable cleaning costs.

ϖ    Any missing equipment items, excessive mess or damage (above what is considered normal wear and tear or fair use) will be charged.

ϖ    Trailers may be unhitched on flat areas.  For public safety reasons, trailers must not be unhitched on the steep slopes near the homesteads - no exceptions.

ϖ    No fuel whatsoever may be stored in, on, under or near the homesteads.   (Fuel may be stored in a secure area away from the homesteads).

ϖ    The homesteads and the facilities of the homesteads are strictly for paying homestead guests only.  (Please go to our “Rates” page for further detail).


ϖ    Children must be properly supervised at all times. 

ϖ    Powered cycles or motor cycles may not be driven or ridden around the property.

ϖ    All native animals and all plants within the park are protected.

ϖ    Toilets:  Please do not flush any foreign objects down the toilet.   (Bins are provided for sanitary napkins etc).

ϖ    All the water used at Lake Maroon Holiday Park is from rainwater tanks. Please use the water thoughtfully and keep shower times to a minimum.


ϖ    Please respect the privacy of other guests to ensure everyone has a pleasurable experience.   Noise or music must be kept to a reasonable volume at all times so as not to disturb other guests.   Noise and Music must be reduced from 8.00 pm.   A quiet time policy from 8.00 pm to 7.00 am applies.   Please consider other guests who may want to enjoy the quiet bush environment.

ϖ    A 10.00 pm curfew applies to all noise and music etc.  

ϖ    Any person behaving in an offensive manner or who intentionally damages property or places property or people at risk will be asked to leave the park.   Where necessary the matter will be referred to Police.

ϖ    We reserve the right to refuse or revoke entry to the park to any person whom is causing excessive noise or is considered to be conducting themselves inappropriately.

ϖ    No Firearms (including bow & arrows etc), fireworks or flares etc are permitted within the park.
